The following illustration is our Fundraising in the Cloud strategy. We use a combination of simple, cost-effective, & scalable Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) applications to help power our fundraising & funder reporting capacity.
We are still working on the math, but we approximate this process helps us be way more effective & transparent:
- Proposals can be built online & in-real time. We can get feedback in advance of the submission deadline
- Everyone who needs to see the proposal (staff, board members, key volunteers, funder staff members) all see the same version of the document
- The budget document helps keep everyone on our team on the same page
- We can more easily report on the impact of the grant in one easy location
