Thoughts on the program: The course signals a shift in software development towards mobile support. As smart phones continue to become more intelligent and replace most functionality of a computer, we will continue to see the need for mobile application developers. This course is an interesting example of a post-secondary institution looking at the current job openings for software developers and using that knowledge to shape a relevant university course.
