This micro-site has been developed for the IT Committee, Framework staff and other stakeholders participating in the on-going development of our information technologies. Our online communications' strategies, organizational practices, and a list of the tools we use are documented here.

Key Goals:
  1. Provide the right IT tools to animate & accelerate collaboration between our staff, volunteers and other stakeholders across North America;

  2. Provide 24/7, uninterrupted access of our data, files, processes, etc for all our stakeholders to engage-with, participate-in or comment-upon;

  3. Move towards IT apps that are generally software-as-a-service or open source technologies to reduce costs and physical IT infrastructure;

  4. Ensure that data, files and other key e-documentation is safe from loss or damage by establishing organizational processes for inventory, security and back up practices.
Blue Sky Thinking:

Our goal is to manage our organization's knowledge by streamlining processes using new technological tools that allow us to be agile, relevant and forward thinking.  This goal presents a paradox, since it can be difficult to streamline technological processes in a fluid environment that is rapidly changing, recognizing the shift towards mobile technologies and cloud computing.
